I have started teaching the Dhamma School at Austin Buddhist Vihara since 2017 when my son started attending the Dhamma School as a student. I currently work in the field of Human Resources Management after receiving the Masters Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies at Texas State University and got certified in Human Resources Management. I have obtained my Bachelor’s Degree in Management from University of Sri Jayewardenepura, Sri Lanka. I enjoyed teaching Sri Lankan cultural aspects to children at Dhamma School, specially preparing them for songs and plays for Sri Lankan cultural events (Sri Lankan New Year, Vesak and Poson Celebration, Sri Lankan Independence Day etc.) I also work with the middle and elder group teaching them the life of the Buddha, Buddhist principles, Sinhala lessons and Gaththas.
