Sri Lankan Buddhist community in Austin, led by the resident priests of Austin Buddhist Vihara, celebrated the annual Vesak festival at Austin Buddhist Vihara on May 07th, 2022. The day started with the annual Vesak sil program, followed by dana and ended with the lighting of Vesak lanterns. Lot of people from the Sri Lankan community, participated in this festive event.
