ABV Dhamma School is held on the 1'st and 3'rd Sunday of every month from
10:00AM - 11:30PM. The classes are conducted
by Ms. Carey with the help of other volunteers. The class schedule for March is: Sunday March 7'th, 2010, and March 21'st.
Sinhala classes will be from 11:30:00AM - 12:00 PM after the Dhamma class.

Dhamma School Lead Teacher Bio:
Carey Hartin has been teaching the Dhamma school classes at the Austin Buddhist Vihara since January 2009. She is currently a Social Studies teacher at Anderson High School in the Austin Independent School District. She has been teaching since 2001. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology and Anthropology from Carleton College. Her undergraduate studies included a semester at Peradeniya University's Faculty of Arts in Kandy, Sri Lanka and a Final Thesis on Women's Role in Buddhism in Sri Lanka. She has a Master of Education degree from George Washington University. She speaks some conversational Sinhala.
