Binara Poya Day-Oct 27, 2007

 The “Binara Poya Day” activities of The Austin Buddhist Vihara were held on 27th October 2007. The Venerable Bhante Pannawimala Thero of Nepal conducted the day long programs that included the observance of the precepts of Sil, instruction in meditation, Dhamma discussion and children’s program. The Venerable Pannawimala Thero of Nepal has spent an extended period of time in Sri-Lanka and continues to visit the island every year. He has traveled extensively through South East Asia, South Africa and the U.S.A. His eloquent interpretation of the Dhamma was a valued experience for all who attended.
